Welcome to Kiwanis Club of Topeka! We are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
Here is information for the Topeka Kiwanis Foundation 2026 Scholarships.
At our meeting on May 18, 2026, we had three of the five Topeka Kiwanis Foundation scholarship recipients attend. They each received a certificate acknowledging their scholarship and spoke briefly about their college future. The Topeka Kiwanis Foundation gave away $7,500.00 in scholarships for next year.
We also had Chief of Police Chris Vallejo from the Topeka Police Department as our guest speaker. He talked about the departments work and their vision for the future.
Thank you to all our guests and members that attended. We held it at the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library and had a nice pasta buffet from their Millennium Café.

Sunflower Music Festival presents 8 free orchestra, chamber ensemble, and jazz concerts performed by world-renowned musicians every year in June on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka.
On April 28th, 2026, we were invited to attend the Ross Elementary: Signature Music School 3rd Annual Night of Inspiration. The club received a certificate, and we were gifted a piece of art that one of the students created. Thanks for the night of celebrating what is happening at Ross.

The Topeks Kiwanis Foundation is awarding up to 6 scholarships this year of $1,500.00 each ($750.00 per semester). Follow this link to the page with more information.

Kiwanis Club of Topeka meets in person on the 2nd and 4th Mondays. Kiwanis is a global organization.
